How do I liquefy my crystalized honey?
Place the jar in a pot with an inch of water and heat it slowly till you see the crystals disappear. For more than a couple jars, place them in a 170F oven for an hour or until liquid.
Note: Honey will loose its raw properties if heated above 120F.
How long does honey stay fresh?
Basically forever. Honey will keep almost indefinitely in a dry cupboard. It has been found in ancient tombs!
What do I do when my candle turns white?
Your pure beeswax candle will likely turn whitish on the surface. This is called bloom and can easily be erased with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat for only a few seconds.
